Growing Up in the Neighborhoods of Mahwah:
1950-1970
A panel discussion and oral history
Mahwah was an exciting place to live in the baby-boom years that followed World War II. A panel of people who grew up in Mahwah during that period will reminisce and share stories about what it was like. Warren Storms from Fardale, Kathy Rozanski Brewster from Masonicus, John Edwards and Bill Dator from Cragmere/East Mahwah, John Spiech from West Mahwah, Scott (Buhlmeyer) Gordon from the Ramapo Valley and Walter Van Dunk from Stag Hill will present this living history. Audience members will also be invited to share their memories. The program will be videotaped for the Museum’s archives and audience participation will be encouraged. Tom Dunn, the current president of the Museum, will moderate.
