The Museum and Donald Cooper Railroad are open Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m. from September to May and at other times by appointment. Click here to request an appointment.

The combined admission to the Museum and the Donald Cooper Railroad is $5 per adult, free per child under 18, Family $10. Admission is free for Museum Society members.

The Mahwah Museum is located at the southwest corner of Miller Road and Franklin Turnpike in Mahwah.

From Route 17 northbound. Exit at Franklin Turnpike/Suffern. Bear right on the ramp. The Museum will be on your right when you get to the third traffic light. Parking is on the south side of the building in the Police Department lot.

From Route 17 southbound (NY State) Exit at Ramapo Avenue/Mahwah. Bear right on the ramp and cross Route 17. Bear right. At the T intersection turn right for a short distance. Turn left on Ramapo Avenue. Come under the railroad track and at the Franklin Turnpike traffic light the Museum will be ahead of you. To get there turn left on Franklin Turnpike, then right on Miller Road. Turn right into the driveway just east of the firehouse and proceed to the Police Department parking lot.
