Senator Henry Winton, editor of the Bergen Democrat, predicted that the suburban borough craze would "prove a very expensive luxury in the near future unless abandoned. Historian, Kevin Wright, will discuss the Borough Craze, which swept Bergen County between 1894 and 1925. A frequent contributor to (201) Magazine, he is the author of the upcoming book, 1609: A Country that was Never Lost. He is the past president of both the Sussex County and Bergen County Historical Societies.
